Wapose Medical Services Inc. is a company owned solely by Ryan Pruden of Fort McMurray, Alberta. Ryan, a Métis from Fort McMurray, started Wapose Medical Services Inc in 2004 when he saw the need for a local company providing top notch, professional medical services to the surrounding area. One advantage he foresaw with this is that the client has a local person to talk to in the event that issues arise. Too many times he saw delays in communication brought on by waiting for an answer from one of the “big” companies hundreds of kilometers away. Issues that required a quick meeting or five minute telephone conversation were taking days to address. With a local company, problem solved in less than an hour.

Our staff comes to us with a wide range of experience. We have part time and full time staff ranging from Advanced First Aiders to Registered Nurses. The support staff all has Emergency Services experience, some with 20+ years. This base, combined with our Medical Director, Dr Palma, gives us an above average knowledge base to draw upon.

Ryan and Suzy Pruden are the owners of Wapose Medical Services Inc. Ryan is the President and CEO, Suzy is the Finance Manager and Accounts Payable. Vance Mendrikis, pictured here with Ryan and Suzy, is the Operations Manager.
